How did you begin your journey toward data analytics?

I began my journey into analytics somewhat by chance while working in B2B sales. I came across Power BI, which sparked my interest in data. I started exploring it further and realized how crucial data is for making informed business decisions. This motivated me to switch to analytics through online training programs, which marked the beginning of my data analytics career.

What aspects of our company culture do you believe most support data analytics career growth?

The best part about working at Aays is the support from everyone around you. Whenever I run into a problem, there’s always someone ready to help out. Plus, the management encourages us to take on responsibilities and make our own decisions.  This really helps build my confidence and supports my data analytics career growth by creating a positive environment for learning and development.

What is the biggest challenge you've faced in your role, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge for me was grasping the technical aspects, especially since I didn’t come from a tech background. Understanding the backend infrastructure was tough at first. But thanks to the opportunities at Aays, I’ve been able to learn and grow. It’s definitely still a work in progress, but the support from my team makes it easier.

What advice would you give to someone starting out their data analytics journey?

My advice would be to come in with an open mind and a willingness to learn. The analytics field is always changing, and there’s so much to explore. At Aays, we’re encouraged to ask questions and seek help, so don’t be afraid to dive in and learn as much as you can.

I really enjoy the knowledge sharing within our team. Everyone is willing to share their experiences and insights, which makes it a great learning environment. It’s not just about completing tasks; we help each other grow, and that’s something I appreciate a lot.

Who or what inspires you to pursue your data analytics career growth?

I’m inspired by the people I work with. Each person has their own strengths and perspectives, and they push me to learn new things. The talent and energy in our team motivate me to keep improving.

What activities do you enjoy outside of work? How do you maintain work-life balance while working with us?

Outside of work, I love playing sports like cricket and football, and I’ve recently started enjoying table tennis. Traveling and exploring new places is also something I cherish. Aays promotes a good work-life balance, which helps me pursue my interests and come back to work energized.

How do you stay up to date with trends and developments in analytics?

I stay updated by following different platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube for the latest trends in analytics. I also enjoy discussing ideas with my colleagues; our conversations often lead to valuable insights. It’s a great way to keep learning and growing together.
